Hi,
Welcome to another issue of Career Communiqué x-Press, and especially a warm ‘hello’ to all of our new subscribers. I consider it a real privilege to have you join me and I look forward to supporting you in your career journey!
I was on the way to pick up my children from school and noticed a small window plaque on the back of the car in front of me that read: “A bad day of fishing is much better than a good day at work.” Now, how sad is that? What’s even more disheartening are the results back from a MyCareer.com.au survey that claimed only 7% of people liked their jobs and that the rest were unhappy and dissatisfied with their line of work.
In my previous work-life, I’ve been an Office Manager, a bookkeeper, receptionist and secretary for SMEs involved in the health food industry. I can honestly say that I enjoyed each and every one of those positions and never really disliked the work I was doing. And now of course as a Career Coach, who is transitioning into coaching women entrepreneurs in online marketing strategies and charging what they’re worth and GETTING it, I love what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
How about you? Do you enjoy the work you’re doing? If you had a choice and you knew you couldn’t fail, would you still be doing what you’re doing now? If you’re one of the 93% of people who dislike their job AND you would like to reclaim passion, purpose and meaning in your work, as well as getting paid what you’re worth, you’ll want to read about the special offer below that you WON”T want to miss out on. Check out the Webinar & Events with Annemarie section below.
